TBT Co., Ltd. will participate in the Special Equipment Exhibition & Conference for Anti-Terrorism 2026 (SEECAT'26), to be held for three days from Wednesday, September 30 to Friday, October 2, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight (東京ビッグサイト) in Japan.
At Booth 4H-35, TBT will showcase its integrated anti-drone system centered on its EO/IR (electro-optical/infrared) thermal imaging camera technology.
Growing Drone Terrorism Threats Highlight the Urgent Need for Stronger Countermeasures
In recent years, threats involving drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), have increased rapidly around the world. As commercial drones have become smaller, more affordable, and more capable, they have also become increasingly accessible for reconnaissance and surveillance, as well as for carrying explosives or hazardous materials that could be used to target public facilities, critical national infrastructure, and large-scale event venues.
Internationally, there have been repeated reports of airport operations being temporarily disrupted by unauthorized drone activity, as well as unidentified drones being detected near critical infrastructure such as power plants and oil refineries.
Against this backdrop, SEECAT'26, held at Tokyo Big Sight, brings together security-related personnel from organizations such as the police, fire departments, Japan Self-Defense Forces, Japan Coast Guard, and customs authorities, as well as representatives from major infrastructure operators, to explore practical counter-terrorism and security solutions.
As Korea's only company specializing in counter-terrorism solutions, TBT aims to present practical and integrated countermeasures against drone threats through its participation in the exhibition.
Through SEECAT'26, TBT plans to demonstrate its thermal imaging camera technologies and integrated security solution capabilities directly to Japanese security and public safety professionals. The company also intends to establish a foundation for expanding its business in Japan's anti-drone and critical infrastructure security markets.
