The company drew significant attention by introducing a new standard in real-time fire detection technology.  The Fire & Safety Expo Korea is the nation’s largest specialized exhibition in the fire safety and disaster prevention sector, with over 300 domestic and international companies and organizations participating to present cutting-edge technologies and equipment.   TBT’s flagship product, the M3 Dual Thermal Imaging Detector, attracted considerable attention for its exceptional early detection capability, overcoming the limitations of conventional fire sensors. Leveraging thermal imaging technology, the M3 device can detect heat build-up before smoke or flames appear, enabling early-stage fire prevention. It is available in both bullet and dome configurations, allowing for optimal installation across diverse environments.  A standout feature of the M3 system is its patented anti-reflection filter, which significantly reduces false alarms caused by light reflections. [NEWS] Next-generation thermal imaging camera ‘NYX Series’ exhibited at DSEI Japan 2025… Focused attention

 [Tokyo, May 21, 2025] – TBT INC, the leading company in the defense industry thermal imaging camera market in Korea, showcased its latest cooled thermal imaging camera module “NYX-SC1280R/300” at the OPHIR JAPAN booth at DSEI Japan 2025, a global defense industry exhibition held in Tokyo, Japan. This exhibit attracted the attention of global defense industry stakeholders looking for advanced surveillance and reconnaissance solutions.   The NYX Series features a MWIR cooled InSb detector with a resolution of 640x512 or 1280x1024, an excellent thermal sensitivity (NETD) of <20mK~<25mK, a motorized zoom lens of up to 1200mm, and “various image processing algorithms (LAE, DDE, HEQ, etc.)” to provide excellent situational awareness even in dark environments.   At the exhibition, “long-range detection capability (maximum detection range of 28km or more based on DRI)” and an automatic integration time adjustment function that adapts to various battlefield environments were demonstrated, drawing a particularly enthusiastic response from those operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), border surveillance systems, and long-range target tracking systems.  A TBT official said, “The NYX Series is designed to provide stable performance even in harsh climate conditions and tactical environments, and we are already working with several global customers,” and added, “We will fully advance into the Japanese defense market through this DSEI participation.”
